Our School Community

One of the things I love about our school is its community. Building community comes from hard work and needs assistance and cooperation. No better example of this is the Spring Fair Spectacular. What a great time was had by all. The rides were a good mix for young and old, the stalls were very profitable thanks to fabulous community donations, entertainment was fun and drew people to the fair outside of our community.

Special thankyou goes to Karina Ellims, Nicole Grima and their team for their hard work and clever organizing. Thankyou also to my wonderful teachers who were there in the background helping to man stalls and keep an eye on the children. Over my many years of teaching I have been involved in many fetes and this one has been the best one ever.

That was not all that happened in our community that week- our dads were made to feel very special at the Father’s day breakfast thanks to Erin Webster and her team. Great idea to have the photos! Our dads were well equipped with presents thanks to Kylie Smallacombe and her team. As I said, lots of hard work but it pays off when the community appreciates and participates in the events organised with a generous spirit.
