🎉 Canberra Excursion Day 2 Success! 🎉 What an incredible second day our Year 6 students had in Canberra! We kicked things off with an awe-inspiring visit to Questacon, where minds were blown and curiosity ignited with all the hands-on exhibits! ⚛️🧪 Then, we soared to new heights (literally!) at the National Arboretum, taking in the breathtaking views and learning about the diverse tree collections. 🌳🌲 A truly serene and beautiful experience. Finally, we wrapped up our action-packed day at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), where our budding athletes got a taste of elite sports environments and felt the buzz of champion training grounds! 🥇🤸 We're so proud of how engaged, enthusiastic, and well-behaved all the students were today. They're making fantastic memories and learning so much! Year 6 Camp Update - Day 2 Adventures! 🇦🇺🗳️ What an incredible second day for our Year 6 students from St Joseph's Schofields on their Canberra Camp! Today was packed with fascinating insights into Australian democracy. Our students had a very informative visit to the Australian Electoral Commission, learning all about how our elections work and the importance of every vote. They then stepped back in time with a visit to Old Parliament House, exploring its rich history and imagining the significant decisions made within its walls. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to connect with our past and understand the foundations of our government. They're having a fantastic time, are engaged in all the activities, and are representing St Joseph's beautifully!
