CSPD school libraries are physical and digital places of inquiry and reading.

They provide access to a range of resources that help students on their Learning journey and help inspire purposeful learning.

Through access to our library resources and services, students develop a range of learner dispositions and capabilities to cultivate a culture of curiosity, creativity, imagination and innovation.

St Josephs Primary Schofields school library

Our physical library

Our library is a modern learning space with a vast range of resources that cater for our whole school community. It's a place to learn, meet and play for students, teachers and parents.

The students make regular visits to borrow and research from our well-resourced and diverse collection. Students and teachers also enjoy opportunities to use the technology available in this space, including the interactive whiteboard, desktop and laptop computers, and iPads.

The library is a popular lunch time stop off for students as they meet to read, play games of chess or discuss a book. The sliding doors that open the space to the playground are often open during lunch time, as children play and read in ‘cafe’ style on the verandah.

eLibrary

All our students have access to the eLibrary - the ultimate digital learning tool for reading and learning.

The virtual library provides unlimited access to thousands of e-books, e-magazines, audiobooks, videos, research information and even bilingual resources with just the click of a button.
